Here comes SANTA-Snow
It looks like we are gonna get some more snow, They are expecting 5-10 inched- I hope it goes NORTH.
I just found this picture of my gas fireplace vent- that's a bee hive in the return air vent!!! Yes it was a bitch cleaning out. I cleaned it out one day in the end of September. They had the hive built all the way around the center exhaust vent- I had thousands of dead bees in the fireplace- I sprayed insecticides to kill them for a week straight. It was not easy cleaning. I recommend covering you vents in the summer OR leaving your pilot light on. (the reason the came in was the pilot light was turned off) I won't make that mistake again.
The weather is the story again, but Christmas is around the corner- I believe we are all done except one item.
Grace found the presents under the tree but she is really good about the "NO don't touch" phrase. she just can't keep away from the Bows, (must be a girl thing)
On a sad note I went to my Uncle Paul's funeral today, it was really sad. he was only 54 or something. It was sudden, but I am glad he got to say goodbye to some of his family and he got last rights from a priest before he passed. It will be a somber Christmas at the Rottas this year.
On a happy note- we get to see all our nephews and our niece next weekend. I can't wait. I hope And & Amy and the kids stay over night with us!!
I got all my wood delivered Wed evening so now I need to cut the dead oak in the front yard down to load in my truck for weight to get around this winter. I also have to help my Dad put out our fish house tomorrow. I will not be fishing for a few years- I've just lost the passion. and It's just too far to travel just to sit on a lake and fish. Maybe in a few years once grace is older.
Good night

Well. Ok so it snowed a little
I guess the weather predictors we right for a change- about 11" at the Doll house-
I got all shoveled out Sunday afternoon and this morning- I went home at 2:30 to plow the end of the driveway- after the snow plow went by.
Saturday we batten down the hatches and enjoyed a peace full evening- Jen got some pulled smoked pork out and we put it in a mini crock pot and that's what I ate the whole weekend. Saturday, Jen and Grace went to a Christmas party in the afternoon and I worked and loaded the last load of wood.
Sunday the snow came- we skipped Church (weather related) and watched it on tv. Jen made an awesome egg bake for breakfast, I made Christmas sugar cookies, and got mu bacon wrapped weenies ready for out pot luck at work today. Watched some football- played w/Grace and plowed snow.
I got up at 5 am got my weenies in the oven and shoveled snow- got my truck running and plowed a little- Jen stayed home with grace cause the plow did not go by till 2 pm. We just don't want to risk having a child in the car in the weather -11" mind you!! She worked from home for a while today-
At Norsemans we had a pot luck- Sales and office staff provided the food- next week it's the shop guys. It was awesome!!!!
I shoveled and swept the cars on the lot all day-- -10 degrees most of the day with a wind chill or -29 degrees mostly. BRRRRRRRRR
I have bowling tonight.
I still have my truck and trailer full of wood to deliver. I hope I can deliver it soon.

What Blizzard-- Blah blah blah
All this talk and preparation for the MIGHTY blizzard that is supposed to hit us tonight and tomorrow- It's not gonna happen!! This is the case every year - we will get three inches and it will go south or north and leave the D.L. region with a dusting!!
Anyway- I am ready if it hits--
Jen, Grace ans I went Christmas shopping Wed. in Fergus Falls, we both had the day off- It was fun to get Grace out again- she is such a talker and smart too. We ate at Arbys and were home by 2:30. I split the rest of the wood and loaded the trailer- I just have the truck to top off and I am ready to deliver a load on Sunday afternoon after the blizzard!!
The plow is on the 4-wheeler and the shovel is sharpened I am ready--
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!

The big three Auto - Bail-out!!!
I thought this was a great article-
I actually watched some of the meeting between the auto and Congress and was shocked at how ignorant he congressmen seemed
Excellent information on the Big 3
Editor: As I watch the coverage of the fate of the U.S. auto industry, one alarming and frustrating fact hits me right between the eyes. The fate of our nation's economic survival is in the hands of some congressmen who are completely out of touch and act without knowledge of an industry that affects almost every person in our nation. The same lack of knowledge is shared with many journalists whom are irresponsible when influencing the opinion of millions of viewers.
Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama has doomed the industry, calling it a dinosaur. No Mr. Shelby, you are the dinosaur, with ideas stuck in the'70s, '80s and '90s. You and the uninformed journalist and senators that hold onto myths that are not relevant in today's world.
When you say that the Big Three build vehicles nobody wants to buy, you must have overlooked that GM outsold Toyota by about 1.2 million vehicles in the U.S. and Ford outsold Honda by 850,000 and Nissan by 1.2million in the U.S. GM was the world's No. 1 automaker beating Toyota by3,000 units.
When you claim inferior quality comes from the Big Three, did you realize that Chevy makes the Malibu and Ford makes the Fusion that were both rated over the Camry and Accord by J.D. Power independent survey on initial quality? Did you bother to read the Consumer Report that rated Ford on par with good Japanese automakers.
Did you realize Big Three's gas guzzlers include the 33 mpg Malibu that beats the Accord. And for '09 Ford introduces the Hybrid Fusion whose 39mpg is the best midsize, beating the Camry Hybrid. Ford's Focus beats the Corolla and Chevy's Cobalt beats the Civic.
When you ask how many times are we going to bail them out you must be referring to 1980. The only Big Three bailout was Chrysler, who paid back $1 billion, plus interest. GM and Ford have never received government aid.
When you criticize the Big Three for building so many pickups, surely you've noticed the attempts Toyota and Nissan have made spending billions to try to get a piece of that pie. Perhaps it bothers you that for 31 straight years Ford's F-Series has been the best selling vehicle.Ford and GM have dominated this market and when you see the new '09F-150 you'll agree this won't change soon.
Did you realize that both GM and Ford offer more hybrid models than Nissan or Honda. Between 2005 and 2007, Ford alone has invested more than $22 billion in research and development of technologies such as Eco Boost, flex fuel, clean diesel, hybrids, plug in hybrids and hydrogen cars.
It's 2008 and the quality of the vehicles coming out of Detroit are once again the best in the world.
Perhaps Sen. Shelby isn't really that blind. Maybe he realizes the quality shift to American. Maybe it's the fact that his state of Alabama has given so much to land factories from Honda, Hyundai and Mercedes Benz that he is more concerned about their continued growth than he is about the people of our country. Sen. Shelby's disdain for "government subsidies" is very hypocritical. In the early '90s he was the driving force behind a $253 million incentive package to Mercedes. Plus, Alabama agreed to purchase 2,500 vehicles from Mercedes. While the bridge loan the Big Three is requesting will be paid back, Alabama's $180,000-plus per job was pure incentive. Sen. Shelby, not only are you out of touch, you are a self-serving hypocrite, who is prepared to ruin our nation because of lack of knowledge and lack of due diligence in making your opinions and decisions.
After 9/11, the Detroit Three and Harley Davidson gave $40 million-plus emergency vehicles to the recovery efforts. What was given to the 9/11relief effort by the Asian and European Auto Manufactures? $0 Nada. Zip!
We live in a world of free trade, world economy and we have not been able to produce products as cost efficiently. While the governments of other auto producing nations subsidize their automakers, our government may be ready to force its demise. While our automakers have paid union wages, benefits and legacy debt, our Asian competitors employ cheap labor. We are at an extreme disadvantage in production cost. Although many UAW concessions begin in 2010, many lawmakers think it's not enough.
Some point the blame to corporate management. I would like to speak of Ford Motor Co. The company has streamlined by reducing our workforce by51,000 since 2005, closing 17 plants and cutting expenses. Product and future product is excellent and the company is focused on one Ford. This is a company poised for success. Ford product quality and corporate management have improved light years since the nightmare of Jacques Nasser. Thank you Alan Mulally and the best auto company management team in the business.
The financial collapse caused by the secondary mortgage fiasco and the greed of Wall Street has led to a $700 billion bailout of the industry that created the problem. AIG spent nearly $1 million on three company excursions to lavish resorts and hunting destinations. Paulson is saying no to $250 billion foreclosure relief and the whole thing is a mess. So when the Big Three ask for 5 percent of that of the $700 billion, $34billion to save the country's largest industry, there is obviously oppositions. But does it make sense to reward the culprits of the problem with $700 billion unconditionally, and ignore the victims?
As a Ford dealer, I feel our portion of the $34 billion will never be touched and is not necessary. Ford currently has $29 billion of liquidity. However, the effect of a bankruptcy by GM will hurt the suppliers we all do business with. A Chapter 11 bankruptcy by any manufacture would cost retirees their health care and retirements.Chances are GM would recover from Chapter 11 with a better business plan with much less expense. So who foots the bill if GM or all three go Chapter 11? All that extra health care, unemployment, loss of tax base and some forgiven debt goes back to the taxpayer, us. With no chance of repayment, this would be much worse than a loan with the intent of repayment.
So while it is debatable whether a loan or Chapter 11 is better for the Big Three, a $34 billion loan is definitely better for the taxpayers and the economy of our country.
So I'll end where I began on the quality of the products of Detroit. Before you, Mr. or Ms. Journalist continue to misinform the American public and turn them against one of the great industries that helped build this nation, I must ask you one question. Before you, Mr. or Madam Congressman vote to end health care and retirement benefits for 1million retirees, eliminate 2.5 million of our nation's jobs, lose the technology that will lead us in the future and create an economic disaster including hundreds of billions of tax dollars lost, I ask this question not in the rhetorical sense. I ask it in the sincere, literal way. Can you tell me, have you driven a Ford lately?

Weekend weekend
These are the three trailers I got in trade for firewood. They all need a bit of work, but well worth it so I won't have to borrow MFD's trailers in the near future.
I delivered a load of wood to dads early in the morning and then, Tony helped me pick up and load the trailers on Sat afternoon. It was a long drive but all went well.
I sold another full load of wood Sat. evening. and will be delivering my second to last load on Sunday. I have a trailer load I owe to my dad and a trailer load to my boss. and then I am done.
I guess we are expecting three inches of snow through out the day so I will be busy with that later this evening. I will have to mount the blade on the 4-wheeler tonight.
Grace Jen and Grandma Wick went to the festival of trees in Frazee last night. then they picked me up toi go to supper at country kitchen.
We also went to visit my sister Anna at my mom and dads on Sat evening so she could see Grace. Then we went to The schossow's for a while to visit them. We just don't get to Perham as much anymore so we try to visit as many people as we can while in town.
Only 3 games left for the NFL. Go Bears.

Christmas is here -(almost)
I have been so Busy I have not had time to update my blog- here is a picture of our Family for our Christmas card- I don't know if this is the one we will pick.
Jen's mom Nancy came over last night to take pictures, Grace was good for the first two then she was a hand full!! We had fun
Saturday we had thanksgiving at Grand ma-pa Wicks, Great grandma wick came too. It was great- and we had left overs that I will be finishing for lunch today!!
I was busy Sunday cutting wood and splitting it,
Grace can climb stairs now so we have to watch her or put up a gate.
She also talks more and more clear every day- she is a smart one.
I stepped on the scale after looking at these pictures and I've lost about 20 lbs since summer. i hope that trend continues to lose about 30 more and I will be very happy and in great shape!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Grace can walk, stand and crawl all in a row. she finally is getting more independent and if she gets scared we remind her to crawl and she will go down on her hands- knees straight (like a bear crawl) and crawl a few feet then she finally drops to her knees and then crawls to your feet or a piece of furniture to pull herself up. She has also learned to pull herself up in the crib, last Sunday I went up to get her up in the morning and she was standing there looking at me saying Daddy daddy daddy. and she climbed up to meet me this morning too. I think she has grown an inch in the last week. She can reach her books on the end table now. Well enough about Grace.
I had today off so I got up when grace got up about 7 and went out to load wood. I finished loading my truck and loaded the trailer. I took the load to Floyd lake, I had to stack some in the garage and then the rest in another garage. I traded the load of wood for three trailers, two pick up box trailers and a frame for a tilt or dump trailer. Two of them need tires and one needs a hitch, but it is a good trade cause I won't have to borrow dads trailer and I can fix up my old one to haul my motorcycle and 4 wheeler. Anyway, the guy I traded with-- the Wood was for his parents they are in their 70's so i unloaded and stacked neatly in the two garages, I didn't have the heart to tell them it would cost extra to stack it, heck I did it all by myself too. Oh well, now i have to find some help to go up to Waubun to get the trailers some day.
Ok after I did that Jen called from home for me to pick up some pop on my way home (Jen worked from home today) So I Drove by the barber shop they were 5 shaggy dude deep, so I passed it up, then stopped at Norsemans to get my pop cap for buy one get one free- I also checked e-mail and made a few calls, left messages. I bought 4 soda and paid for 2, the 2 20 oz mountain dew cost me $4!!! that is wrong!! no wonder I never buy pop anymore!
I came home and started to split wood- i split a whole trainer load- loaded the trailer and wen in for lunch, after Crab salad lunch, I went out front to cut two of the dead ones down. I had to use the 4 wheeler and winch to pull one away from the house. I cut this wood longer and loaded it up to deliver to the inlaws. I got it all loaded a full load- hauled it to the Wick's and unloaded by the wood stove. I picked up my big trailer and headed for Frazee, got a hair cut and came home. Went to pick up Grace cause Jen had a hair Appt at 4:30. And had supper and played and wrote in my blog!!
Tomorrow we are going to the Doll's for thanksgiving. I guess it will be a full house.

The turkey smells good
Wow turkey day is only two days away! I can't wait.
Jen had volleyball Friday so Grace and I read books and learned more words. She got home as I was starting to prepare the desert for Sat. night. It was chocolate chip cookie bars- they were outstanding- perfectly done! But don't ask Jen she thinks they were too doughy.
Saturday I took a load of wood I sold to Perham to deliver, along with Grace. I dropped her off at G-pa & G-ma Dolls. Jen had to work f0r Perham home care and was VERY busy, doing 4 visits and hours of paperwork. She says she probably won't take that on again any time soon- (lots of work on a weekend!) I left Grace to play with the Doll's while I took my venison to get processed and went home to cut more wood. i cut another two loads, Dad showed up just in time to get a load and take it home. Then we wentr to Luke and Margie's for supper. Spaghetti- It was awsome, Grace had fun watching Mason And Jade. Travis Heidi & Mason were there along with Kent. The Schossows all had pink eye so they could not make it, i don't know what the Bakkilas were doing? We stayed till about 8 pm till Grace was getting crabby and ready for bed.
Sunday Jen had to make some phone calls for work so Grace and I went to church at 9 am. she was good till about communion then got realy crabby, she wanted togo walk around - and I SAY NO> We got home I went to cut wood- I cut till 1:30 then came in for lunch then went out and split about 2 loads. Dad dropped off the trailer.
We had an awesome cornbread chili bake- Jen made from a recipe in the one dish meal cook book.
THE BEARS WON so it was a good day- I also got to watch"24" - I can't wait till Jan.
Had a great day at work again.
Hey if you need wheels, call me come in lets get you enjoying your prefect vehicle.

Rub a dub dub three men in the tub
WOOPIE weekend is here,
Jen has to work all day tomorrow she had to cancel her hair appointment for the second time in a row, Grace and I will head to Grandma-Pa Doll's in the morning she will hang out there while I deliver a load of Wood. I then have to get my deer meat and figure out where I will take it. and maybe help Dad do some things around the house.m He keeps talking about Fishing although he forgets I live in D.L. now and won't be fishing very often. Plus when my kid or kids get older I will send them with Grandpa so i don't have to bait all the hooks and get everything ready constantly! Also he seems up set that I am selling a lot of my wood, although he has lots of acres to cut his own- and I'd do it for some cash- But that's not how a son should act. I guess i have my own things to do. and the time and MONEY it takes to help him cut wood - I can make upwards of $100 a load. Oh well better day are ahead- THANKS GIVING!! the great turkey- Now that I live in the Frazee school district the turkey is very special to me! YUMMY I hope mom is having turkey for thanksgiving,
Saturday night Grace Jen and I are going to Luke and Margie's for supper- along with some other friends- we are in charge of desert!
I look forward to spending time with friends.
I also sold my bar and they aren't coming to pick it up till Friday next week!!
I wish I could go tho the Bears game in Minneapolis next weekend but due to Jen working and the Turkey day stuff on Sunday at the Wicks- I won't be going!! I will be watching from the comfort of my Lazy Boy!!
GO BEARS
Well have a great weekend- I hope to get at least two loads of wood cut by Sunday night.
Don't let the suds in the tubs get out of hand!
Winter Cold!
The weather seems cold, Well I am almost sold out of Wood and I need to cut about 4 more cord in the next two weeks. My dad claims he wants to buy all of it but won't pay as much for it, or come and cut it himself. Today I changed my add on craigs list to $110 per pick up load or 225$ for a full truck & trailer load delivered and add more for mileage depending on location. I am also trading some wood for some trailers if they are any good. I will look at them tomorrow.
Jen has been busy at work and she is on call again this weekend for Perham home care- she is real busy with ottertail county and Nations care link visits.
Grace is learning more each day. she is getting better at talking too, I think she could pronounce things better if she had teeth- she only has the two bottom front ones now.
The car business has been Booming for me in the last two weeks, so I don't have much time to write here.
I also sold my vintage whiskey barrel bar on craigs list too, Some lady is picking it up on Sat.
Any body need a $1000 car? too bad there arn't meny available.
I look forward to Thanksgiving, I just wish Drake & Sky were coming. I guess I'll have to wait till Christmas.
Enjoy the cold!!

Lots of Wood
I had Wed. off so I took Grace to daycare about 7:40 and then I started to cut and split wood. Tony came over about 10 and helped sort wood and the load my truck with wood then load dad's gray trailer for himself then he helped me split while I cut till about 12:30pm- i kept cutting till 3:30. I probably got 4-5 pick up loads done. I hope to get at it again on Sunday. i am selling it for $85 a pick up load you pick up. or I will negotiate delivery.
Jen had to work late last night so I went and got Grace about 4:30. We had chili for supper. I had steak for lunch.
Today has been busy - I'm trying to catch up with follow up from the salesman who left a couple weeks ago and I can see the end of the tunnel -- but I better get back to work-

the 8 Point BUCK
Well I finally got a nice buck- 8 points- small rack but big deer. Our hunting party had 7 deer by 9:30 am on opener. Then one more in the afternoon to make 8 total. The party included - MFD(dad) Tony, Andy, Amelia, John Doll and myself. Tony shot 3, Andy shot one, John shot 2, dad shot one and I got one. We will have plenty of venison this year.
We all had steak and chili for lunch and attempted to sit in our stands the rest of the day. It was 25 degrees with a wind of 20-35 mph. COLD! We skinned the deer right away Sat night and will cut them up Mon. I did not even go back out Sun. I guess everyone else did but I was happily sleeping.
on Sunday Jen Grace and I went to church at 9 am then made a egg bake for lunch- Tony and Andy stopped by to watch the Bears game. Ang even stopped for a while to give Tony his suit for a funeral Tues. Grace was shy but warmed up right before they all left. She can say nony which is supposed to be tony. She must be getting teeth she was fussy all night and woke up a lot and cryed for about a minute then back to sleep.
Audrey has to hunt next weekend so I guess everyone else will be out there too.
I have to bowl tonight so I won't be able to cut meat very long.

OH NO it's gonna SNOW
Yes that right snow is predicted, I got my grass seed down last night in the back yard, spread some straw on the hills so it won't wash away, I used less than half so I can re seed in spring again. - I had steak for supper, Jen went shopping so we may have fajitas tomorrow-
I had a fire call today in Frazee - Garage was burnt- the structure was saved. I had to go home and shower before returning to work. I had lunch at home and turned the roast pork up- It is in the crock pot - it should be ready by the time I get home!! Carrots potatoes onions and Green peppers, pork roast with french onion soup dry mix on top!! YUMMMM .
Sounds like it will snow a few inches by the weekend, should be good for hunting, I am gonna get the 4-wheeler bracket put on so it's ready for the plow blade, so I can easily attach it for plowing snow after deer hunting- or the way it sound maybe sooner-
Good luck with the weather everyone~!!

Welcome OBAMA -well kinda
Finally the elections are done- Frazee school district board members are elected, and new ideas will come-- Obama will be our next President- and every branch of government is now very liberal- so please-- please everyone out there- remember where and who you are today- The times are a changing and in 4 - 8 years from now we will see what great tax breaks us middle class people will get- the rich will no longer get all the breaks, at our environment will become and don't worry about a job- big brother will create one just for you!
I guess it's not all bad. It show u that EQUAL rights are finally here- (maybe gay people lose)
I am waiting to see the MN senate race results after the recount-
I see lake Park Audubon and Pelican rapids and Perham Levy's failed- Guess us middle class people can't afford any more taxes- better figure out a way to sock it to the rich folks--
I still need to get grass down in the back yard- It was raining when I got home last night- I may sneak away for an hour today to do that - bu we'll see. Grace loves stickers now- she got the I voted sticker and stuck it to everything!! She is quite the communicator she is starting to put a couple words together now- that's really exiting- she tells us when she is going potty so I think we are gonna start that this weekend too. What a big girl!! See you all later

thank god for DEER HUNTING SEASON
Well I got my gun sited in, 2 shots one 3 inches left of the target and one right on. Good enough. Talked to three people that hit deer either this morning or yesterday. Wow that makes me hungry. I got all my blaze orange ready. got a whole box and a half of bullets so I should be ready. I really need some meat this year. the last few years I didn't really want any, but now that I don't have free food ready at any time, I will be loving my venison sausage again! plus I forgot hoe damn good it is. I think I'm gonna get a ton of meat sticks this year. Jen loves them. we were out with in two months last year- 8 lbs worth.
Grace had a great Halloween! she was a bumble bee, she bussed all night. We went to Norseman motors, her daycare Jane & Tom Schmitz, then to perham to Grandma and Grandpa doll's then we were gonna go to aunt Amelia's but we couldn't get ahold of her so we got a Michelangelo's pizza and went to the grandma-pa #wicks- ate pizza saw a few trick or treaters and had a couple beers. Grace was up till 9:30 again!!
Saturday I had a huge list of things to do, While Jen worked, - we put child safety locks upstairs in the bathroom, took pictures of the Barrel bar to sell on craigslist. tilled the garden area, got hunting stuff ready, vacuumed the house, got grass seed, got gas, jen got hoem so we went to the doll farm to get the deer stand ready, and went got a movie to watch, went to KFC for supper- drive through- Watche Indiana Jones and some space aliens. (dumb!)
Sunday Jen worked in the morning so I made breakfast at 8 am, we went to church at 11 am.
I sited in the gun washed Jens car, got the shed cleaned for winter, picked up sticks and rocks in the new back yard, got ready for seeding!! cleaned up the outside area of hose too.
Today I got a new office at work- One much bigger- one of the other sales consultants quit-- so now I have to work every other Saturday until we hire another person! That sucks but I will have Wed. off so Jen and I will have the same day off. And Saturdays are only till 4 pm, but it still sucks a bit.
Well I gotto go for now-

Great weather
Well It finally got nice again, but for how long? I am glad the elections are only a week away, i can't wait! The adds are sickening. I've had another great week. the weather helps.. grace is getting funner as the days pass, she shows more of her personality every day. She looks for uncle Tony every time the door rings, likes to point at her cousins Drake, Skyler, Levi, and Billy and try to say their names. she calls every thing baby. She is finally acting like a little girl and feeds her dolls with a bottle then burps them, she gets more violent the more tired she gets but it's still cute.
I hope I can find some time to cut wood this weekend, site my gun in and get my deer stand at MFD's ready. i am not looking forward to hunting, only getting meat and then going home. Darrell really wants me to hunt with them but, i think my brothers and Dad would really miss me. Plus I think I may have to work the second weekend Saturday anyway. We'll see.
Have a great day.

Another week gone
Had a great week. i didn't get any steak last night cause I had this AWESOME CHICKEN POT PIE, I had it again for lunch today too. My wife is the best cook ever!! So tonight on my way home from work, I stopped at the grocery store to get some milk and picked up some potatoes, we had grilled steak and baked potatoes tonight for supper grace had cracker cause she eats before I get home so she always needs to snack again while Jen and I eat. She was a fuss bucket last night but tonight a lover! she was giving me kisses all night - we played till 8:45- Don't tell her mom she is supposed to be in bed a bit after 81 but she was playing so nice with a book and the farm set we got fro Andy Amy and the kids. She was telling me how to get the animals in the fence and mad me help her set it up then she takes it apart again and over and over again and again. What a blast, Oh yeah I saw a 4 point buck on the way hoe=me last night almost hit it but it ran into the ditch before I got close enough. Jen had Volleyball at 8:30 tonight she plays in an adult league on Friday nights. I am gonna run her a bath when I'm done with this blog, If I don't do it for her the expensive whirlpool bath tub we have would never get used. Got a big day of getting ready for winter tomorrow. Got to get hoses ready get the garage ready for a car to fit, and get my tractor running so I can clean up the yard some more. Well have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Nice day
It was a nice day today, I look forward to reading the papers tonight and see all the stuff about the local elections so I can decide on who to vote for for school board and for township/county seats. I just wish I could vote in Fargo ND they got some weird stuff measure one measure 2 WHATTTTT?? sounds as complecated as " its for the kids" but we will charge everyone no mater if you have kids or not- or if you are retired on a fixed income with inflation rates rising medical care cost soaring high- or young Families living the American dream. Oh well i know two things for sure- I keep getting older and i will always have to pay taxes!! (just so the illegals and helpless can get public care & funds) How about a tax credit to people who sent their Kids to private school. I'm talking a huge credit, Unless of course they use the public special needs program or things like that- but there should be a more significant tax credit for private schools or even home schooling-
Oh well this is what I get for talking to old beaten down retired Farmers and blue hairs.
Enjoy the weather it looks good for tonight,
I think I'll have steak for supper!! I'll cook it too!! YUM YUM

Long weekend
Wow what a long weekend- Saturday I worked until 4 pm - went home played with Grace for while then headed to Tony's Y NOT party in moorhead, I left around 5:15 dropped off some film at walmart in D.L. then headed to moorhead.
When I go there my two sisters And & Amelia were already there, I met some of Tony's neighbors and friends, got re-acquainted with some of his old friends and drank a lot of beer, at about 10 pm I decided to stay over night so I started to drink more-
It was a good time amelia took some pictures that I am looking forward to get posted on my blog. All the beds were taken in Tony's house so i slept in the living room on the recliner chair.
I woke up at 5:30 am and went home. I then slept a few hours till grace woke me- I took a shower and went to Church at 11. I got home and Darrell- my father in law was hard at work with his skid steer getting black dirt in my back yard. So I raked and shovelled all day, while occasionally watching the BEARS kick the Purple helmets around. 48 to something I think.
We got done about 4:45 I took a shower ate an awesome dinner- BBQ smoked pulled pork and Carrot Hot dish-Yummy! Played with grace while watching the bears game that I dad taped- I missed the last 4 minutes - the recording ended early. went to bed at 8 pm and slept like a baby!

What a week
Had a busy Thursday - I had the day off and worked on a big project- had bee's in the fireplace flu - they had a Hive completely blocking the intake. I will post picture of it soon. I started the project about 9 am got done at 2 pm- It was a pain getting the cap off. it was ty-vacked in and the J-channel was holing it in, and it is about 12 feet off the uneven ground . I backed the truck up and put my little giant ladder on it and went to work Up and Down up and Down at least 50 times, I had to scrape and pull the hive pieces out with a bent up cloths hanger - then Vacuum with the Kirby then wipe with soap and water and that was not easy, i left the inner flu connected to the cap other wise I would have had to buy some high heat sealer that is hard to work with and the n reconnecting it would also be a challenge with those heights, and I would have eventually needed help, so I maneuvered around it which was difficult, all in all it is all back to norm all, I will be covering tit next spring when I turn the pilot off, the manf. told me to leave the pilot light on and it wont happen- But that has to be costly leaving it on for 6-8 months until we use it again.
Anyway I got the porch furniture put away , my motorcycle down stairs, and a few other things done in the garage, I also worked on cleaning up the winter storage shed, made room for my dads wood splitter in the out shed and got hoses and sprinklers ready for winter too. The my sister Ang came over for supper. Jen made cheesy chicken tortilla soup- it was good.
Friday after work we went to the Perham Fire Dept BINGO at the Lakeside in Perham, I won a bingo but draw a 5 because there were two other bingo's also. I got chips and licorice- Jen won a door prize 5 coffees at wild goose and a $25 gift certificate a cottages crap shop in Perham.

Had a good time- Travis and Heidi Happel won a lamp and a turkey breast, so we dropped it off at their place on the way home. Grace talked the whole way home after spending the evening at Grandma and grandpa Dolls.
It looks to be a busy Saturday I am working and have a few appointments in the morning - I will be heading to Tony's Y Not party at his place in Moorhead later tonight- Jen and grace are not going because Jen is on Call for Emanuel this weekend-
Enjoy--

Busy day
Busy day today, working with Internet customers, researching available vehicles and answering questions, meet a few new people today, it was a good day.
I have fire training tonight for the Frazee Fire Dept. we are doing a "barn burn" literally, I believe it is at Charlie Maves place, but I could be wrong, I will be late getting there cause I don't get done with work till 6 and I think that's when they start.
Angela is coming over on Thursday night to stay and then look into ordering a new car for next year. I am looking forward to seeing her and Grace interact.
Grace is walking better and better on her own every day. i think she will be able to get up in her crib soon. she said "Deer" for the first time last night it was exciting she saw them in the driveway before I got home and then wanted to show me where they are out back too. i spooked them when I came home and she could not figure out where they went.
Have a dry day.
